It’s a biblical story with a futuristic sci-fi twist and San Francisco is its backdrop. Documentary filmmaker Michael Jacobs captures the life of a pastor who devoted his life to this movie. “Audience of One” is being featured at the San Francisco International Film Festival.

During WWII the Nazis exterminated millions of people. They also tried to eliminate all traces of their culture. San Francisco director Bonni Cohen documents efforts to retrieve the lost treasures in "Rape of Europa." The SF International Film Festival will feature the documentary later this month.

When San Francisco filmmaker Lynn Hershman Leeson learned fellow artist Steve Kurtz had been accused of being a terrorist she couldn't believe it. With the help of some famous friends, as well as complete strangers, Hershman's documentary Strange Culture came together in record time and is being screened at large film festivals around the world.
